Cheers,
I have gotten the GRE800 scanner for the purpose of monitoring the Rockland system but with no luck.
I understand that I'm in a dead zone area with multipath issues etc, but there MUST be some way to get around this.
I live in the New Hempstead area and when I'm home it sucks, when I'm on the road in some areas, it works perfectly.
The questions here is: Is there any antenna, optional device that I can purchase to solve the multipath issue?

And if not, is there any other option (like change a setting on the scanner, etc) that I have? Or just go back to the good old days and listen to Lo Band (O&R) :)

Thanks peeps.

That might be the problem. Because of multipath, no?
I live on Bridle Rd. Closer to New Hempstead Rd.

Any suggestions?

Go to "Settings" then scroll up to "DSP Level Adapt" Change it from the factory 64 to 16. Let me know if that helps.
