Right now I have military mast poles that are attached to a 5 foot fence post cemented into the ground. The mast poles are attached with very heavy duty pipe to pipe clamps so it's very stable. I'm considering clamping up a Rohn H30 push up mast to hold up a single dual band antenna. The issue is, I can't guy the thing as there just isn't the room. Has anyone put up one of these without guying? how much wobble is there? Is it reasonably stable?

Are you locked in to using the Rohn mast, i.e. do you already own it? If not, I'd look at a fiberglass push up mast. Max Gain Systems has a good selection.

No, not locked into anything. My main goal is to just get my antenna(s) to a legitimate 20-25 foot height. Right now I have an X-200 on the roof on a five foot mast that puts it right around 15 feet. I’m considering a small 25 tower, but if the Rohn mast would do the job then it would be enough. I’m fortunate in that I live on a hill that is about 300 feet higher than most of my surrounding area. But, I’d like to get up over the surrounding houses if I can.

30 to 40 feet Rohn 25 in 3x3x3 hole full of concrete it will be fine with not much load for antennas.
I actually had one of those. The city made me remove it when I had to move my electrical drop. I can put up another one but if the push-up mast will do the job it would be a lot easier. I have 24’ of those aluminum military mast poles and it’s super sturdy. I’m just not sure how Heavy the Rohn masts are.
