Looking for ATC freqs in Rome (FCO) I thought I had them from a trip in 2002 but Nooooo. Any help appreciated. Tried airnav.com and google. I remember looking up Bhagdad approaches and terminal freqs when the mess started over there but can't remember the site.

All front office crews on airliners have to have available the approach plates and enroute sectional charts for the routes they travel. Anbd they have to keep them up to date. Befriend an airplane driver and ask what they do with the discards. You'll soon have more paper than you know what to do with. Also, ICAO publishes directories to published charts and approach plates. So does our gov, thorugh NOAA as "Aeronautical Charts and related publications."

Try the following site:-

http://worldaerodata.com/

I don't know how accurate it is, but it does contain a lot of frequency information. I found it when I was looking for frequencies for Singapore, but then chickened out and didn't take a scanner with me!

Thanks. I went there and found it, added it to my newly organized bookmarks under Aero. Freqs don't change very often so I'll load them in the scanner and check it out. I use a Ham txcvr and carry a copy of my license. No problem in Europe but yeah, I wouldn't carry it to Singapore. Went to Russia on a cruise a few years ago, didn't take it out of the drawer in my room! I like to listen to the crews around the ship during departure rituals. You can hear how many passengers and crew haven't returned and other cool stuff. My wife even gets into it.

Thanks again, and thanks Vern too!
