For those of you in Rome NY and the surrounding area, I propose that we update the Radio Reference database to reflect the remaining users of the Rome NXDN system.

1. Change the system name from Rome Public Safety to Rome City.
2. Delete talk groups 5 and 19. These users have moved to the CNYICC P25 system.

The Rome DPW and the Rome Water Department are still users of the NXDN system. DSDPlus reports there is a talk group ID of 58, but I have yet to hear any audio on this TG. Am I missing any others TGs?

Does anyone have any issues if I submit these changes?

No objections here.

Thanks nacsr. I submitted the changes. I will continue to monitor the NXDN system with DSDPlus in case I missed something.

With the recent NDXN upgrade for my SDS200, I discovered the Radio Reference LCNs listed for the Rome system are incorrect (or have been changed). To date, I have recorded activity on the following frequencies and have captured their real LCNs (1, 2, and 3).

453.1875 1 Control Channel
453.5000 2
460.1125 3

I haven't seen any activity on the last two frequencies (460.3875 and 460.4625) for the primary site. My guess is they are 4 and 5 respectively. I will continue to monitor this system for a while before I submit the changes (not my guesses) to RR.

As of this date, I haven't recorded any activity on the Griffiss Airport Site frequencies (453.0500, 453.4875, and 453.5125). I wonder if the Griffiss folks have abandoned this system for another?
