Romeoville is transmitting there traffic this morning on Starcom TG=1951, they are NOT simulcasting on there VHF freqy...There using only T101-Lisle for now....

Yes, it does sound very well but takes some transmissions about 2-3 try's to get across...Some fine tuning may help...Its really wierd, i do not receive T113 well at all on any of my digital scanners at my home near Provena Hospital until i go on the east side of Joliet or Lockport, T101, 102, 125, 126 work great.....When i go down towards the Race-Track or New Lenox or Elwood T113 is great...Must be T113 is down in a hole and its satellites are no where near me....

It sounds like they are testing on 1951. It sounds like they are testing the radio over the intercom and it isn't coming in very well over the intercom. I hear everything just fine on the scanner end...

Sounds like Romeoville is having a bit of a problem on Starcom with grunts and groans over TG1951, there back on VHF today....Also saw a new TG on Will Co -04-095, sounded like a FD returning to station??....

It's weird if they were having issues and are being forced to go back to testing. It was working fine over the weekend. I think that it's user error if anything. I noticed that they were purposely 'walking' on each other today in the test mode to see what would happen.
Ok thanks for the info.
I was hoping their tg could be heard on our tower down here but oh well.
