Ronkonkoma Fire Department Astro Digital?

I monitored the Ronkonkoma Fire Department operating in ASTRO Digital (APCO-25) mode today at aprox. 6:30pm. Anyone know anything about Ronkonkoma being/switching to a digital setup?

PS: This is the first I've heard digital being used for a fire department on Long Island (of course I could be wrong).

What Frequency are you hearing this on?? is it 460.6250 ?

I've been told that Dix Hills has P-25 radios for talk around only on 458.1875
That freq is used Analog with CTCSS, as well as 3 NACs for other fireground use.

460.6250 .. thats what I have programmed into my Pro-96 and my ASTRO Saber ... both received and decoded a P-25 digital signal ..
