It appears that the long awaited joint dispatch with West Caldwell is finally up and running. So far there are no changes to talkgroups. Roseland and West Caldwell are operating normally On their assigned talk groups.

Also if you are interested in their Fire Ops, they are dispatched on the old 158.940 still but will be utilizing the old Police Band 159.090 PL 141.3 now.
I was under the impression that the fire department was also going to NJICS at some point. Essex Fells is going sometime this year.
I am not sure about that part, as I understand it RFD did not wish to go to NJICS.

Confirmed - RFD has no intentions of migrating to NJICS.
Is their existing VHF on simplex? I'm in the next town over and I can never hear them.

Yes, they operate on the channel set listed in the database.
They now use the old PD channel after dispatch 159.090 which is listed as PD Backup - Due to the dispatch moving to Caldwell (or west) they needed to be on a repeater as they were not able to hear the FD.
