In the database, it shows Roseville Police channels 6-8 with no explanation as to their use, other than channel 8 is listed as being encrypted. Yesterday, I was seeing quite a bit of traffic on Channel 6 and it was all encrypted. I still have not noticed traffic on Channel 7, but curious if all three of these channels may be encrypted. Anyone know?

I don't know what their uses are, but I'll venture to guess that if Ch. 6 is encrypted, and Ch. 8 is encrypted, then so is Ch. 7.

The database for their retired Smartnet system had a Ch. 9 (TG 272) as well, which would be TG 17 on the P25 system.

6-9 were I believe spare/unknown channels in the analog system not being used if I remember correctly . also I think there's technically 10 PD channels I came to that conclusion because there are 10 fire and EMS channels so it makes sense.
