My aging Asante router failed this evening. All Scan Cape Cod feeds are down until it can be replaced, which will likely be Friday 3/7 evening.

I went through the same type of thing a couple of weeks ago when my Netopia kicked the bucket. I have 3 backups now from the scrambling to get one working. One ordered from the phone company, one from my folks who picked it up and delivered from a shop 70 miles away, and a old linksys wireless box which I flashed with openWRT to make it a real router
Next step though is to find a smaller, thinner box for my stream.. This old P-II works great, but sure takes up a ton of space in the bedroom.. Would like to have it on a bookshelf or something..
