At the time of the accident, the METAR for Hayden read "KHDN 192235Z AUTO 29010G14KT 1/4SM OVC004 M02/M03 A2962 RMK AO1" - so he was landing in overcast ceilings 400 ft. above the runway with a quarter mile visibility when the DH (decision height) on the ILS approach to Runway 10 is 780' and 446' on a WAAS GPS approach.
KDVR and KWGN showing video of the approach to the runway, while a aviation expert talks about landing there many times. I don't want to fly with him as that is not the approach to 08 at Hayden. It looks more like Granby or maybe Kremmling. Looking at Flight Aware's track it looks like he made his turn back to the east about two miles west of my house. That looks a little bit too far west, but maybe not for a 414.
