Hi All
I run :: Royalty Free Music Radio - Quality Entertainment with NO Recurring Fees royalty free music radio in the UK on the internet but ideally would like it to be heard on an ordinary radio, is there a legal way for someone in one country to tune into my station on the internet and then relay it on shortwave so it can be received on a fairly standard portable radio with shortwave on it? during UK daylight hours?

Private citizens of any country legally getting permission to broadcast in one of the shortwave broadcasting bands? I think the probability of that happening is extremely close to zero. You would have a better chance of approaching one of the established broadcasters.

Two issues (at least) as I see it.
1) For shortwave stations run by governments, they generally will want to have complete control over the content. They do not exist solely for the purpose of entertaining their country's inhabitants or other interested listeners. They are first and foremost propaganda tools for the government.
2) For shortwave stations run by private parties, they generally do not do so out of the kindness of their hearts; they are business ventures. In other words, I seriously doubt anyone will put your music on their shortwave station for free, no matter how good it is.
