I have noticed there have been some mistakes, and I thought I read in a post somewhere that some freq's may also be outdated as well.
Also, I'm not sure, and maybe somebody in the know can correct me, but I believe the RRdatabase relies on the submissions of it's users, so, if this is the case, take some time and do a frequency search with your scanner,(one of the funnest parts of the hobby), also search the FCC database, ask around if you know any COPS or Firefighters, and submit the info to the Database, but please, I mean PLEASE try and make sure the info is as accurate as posible, nothing worse than taking the time to program worthless frequencies.

Good luck and have fun!

If you are talking about Plainfield and Avon on MECA I can hear them just fine. Check the database I'm pretty sure they have the correct ones.

RocketMan1 is correct about the database and user submissions.

i posted submissions about my home county in the kentucky database. i checked back a few weeks later and found every gov't freq for my county was added. not just my county, but the adjoining cntys and cntys that had no listings in the DB. even freqs that i know have not been active for YEARS had been added. i suppose some of our fellow members secretly want to be admins.

i am only interested in hot mics and will not post anything in the DB that isn't. i quess some of us are more concerned with our number of post and frequent submitter status. i use the forums to discuss and find new freqs. and the DB for confirmed data.

oh well...garbage in, garbage out.

please excuse me for the rant.

Yeah I am going through right now and am listening to all of the evansville businesses trying to sort out which ones are hot mics. I have a 95 with a 800 duckie.
