RR feed... Please help

I just registered the Peoria, IL live feed but am having issues with the quality. It just cracks with or without sound coming from the scanner. Here's the link to hear it... Peoria County, Illinois (IL) Live Police, Fire, and EMS Scanners on RadioReference.com.

Any advise on steps to fix this is appreciated!

Hard to say, but have you checked all the cables and made sure they're good and everything. I would just start swapping stuff until you narrow it down. But it sounds like something on your end with the audio or sound card or something.

I second DPD1. It sounds like a bad connection or a faulty sound card. Check your connections and scanner first. It could be the jack on your scanner, your scanner itself, the cable, the jack on the card or the sound card itself. Eliminate one by one until you find the culprit.

Your also streaming at 128 kbps. The higher the bitrate, the more sensitive it is to sound. 16 kbps is the standard bitrate.
However, I also agree with the two previous posts. Sounds like a faulty connection or loose or broken wire.
