I've rolled out a bunch of fixes and updates based on suggestions, in a COVID induced haze (triple vaxed, but I gave New Orleans last week every opportunity to infect me, so here we are)

1) DMR Tier 3 Region Displays
2) HTML fixes for radio buttons
3) Use MyRR Country setting for premium subscriber for browse button

Plus a number of other minor fixes. More to come this week. I've been pretty busy with a ton of personal business and play (daughter is graduating this year, college stuff, non-profit board chair, mardi gras, final four, winter golf etc) that's been happening over the past few months but I should be settling into late spring nicely to work on RR a lot more here soon.

Hope it is nothing serious and you recover quickly. Prayers are with you!

I'm all good. I've recovered nicely.

On the form that allows you to search by metro area, Philadelphia is listed and it's inaccurate.

If you look on that Philadelphia Metro Page, you'll see Cecil County which is part of the Philly Metro area (as defined in our database anyway) - so I don't see a problem here and that's the way it's been forever.

Hmph...Cecil county is separated from the Philly area by an entire state - Delaware. I should know, I drive thru it every time I need to go to NJ.
'
Just because it's been that way forever doesn't mean it's right...oh well....Mike

Perhaps you should've explained that Cecil County was incorrectly listed as part of the Philly Metro Area in your first post, instead of saying 'it's wrong'. Details matter.

I'm also wondering why it hasn't been submitted to the db for correction during the "forever" period. This is a crowd-sourced db...it needs users to submit info, including corrections.

Before this gets totally off-track, AC said the Philly Metro area DB entry has always had Cecil County listed, therefore it's not a redesigned 2.0 issue. If Cecil County needs to be discussed, it should be discussed in its own thread in the appropriate forum.

Will RRDB 2.0 have a spot for LCN's next to site frequencies? I think that would be a neat feature...

LCN is already part of the database when appropriate, the small number to the left of the frequency.

EDACS system (needs LCN):

Motorola system (doesn't need LCN):

Thanks. I was talking more about a Motorola system. I would think a LCN would show for all system types regardless of whether its required or not. Because after all a database is a database and more information the better! Sometimes it is helpful.

In what situation is it helpful?

Awhile back I tried to setup Muskegon County Simulcast on MPSCS with UniTrunker. For some reason It would not work properly because I couldn't get Band plan information or LCN's, even when tuning into control channel and downloading from radio reference it just couldn't get anything other than the one control channel which was typed in manually. That issue is fixed since then. But "DSDPlus.frequencies" would need manual OTA Channel Number input too

There is no provision in the RRDB for cataloging LCN for Motorola or P25 systems, therefore there is nothing to display.

So, it appears the top menu just moved to the left side. How do you view the INPUT frequency? Does ScaannerMaster own this page since the logo won't go away? In my opinion, it just looks like a lot of fluff. Why mess with something that was working just fine. Thumbs down.

Good catch on the input frequencies. This is something we need to fix.

ScannerMaster is a major sponsor of the site, and pays for that logo and ad placement. They don't "own" the page.

Noted. Thanks for the feedback.

If you use an ad blocker, you can block the element by right clicking and “picking” that inside of the red box then left clicking
