Love the redesign! It's much easier to use on mobile.

One suggestion since the FCC data seems to be an area of focus -- when running a FCC license report (for a particular county, doing a state/freq lookup, or a proximity search), it'd be great if there was an option to include the emissions designators and licensed output power was shown in the report. This would make it easier to identify an unknown user when reviewing a broad set of data where currently, you'd need to drill down to the individual license to get that level of detail.
One of the issues here with this is it exponentially increases the size of those reports. Many licenses have multiple emission designators associated with them, which results in 1000's of additional entries per report generated. It's why we've made the conscious decision to keep emissions designators out of broad reports and leave them at the individual callsign level.

Edit: Maybe we can add these fields for State, Metro Identified Queries. I'll definitely look into it.

Yep, I can see how licenses with many designators would make the reports hard to read line by line. I was picturing a grouped column at a line level (all the designators in one column), but depending on how your queries are structured that might open up some SQL performance cans of worms since I'd imagine some of your FCC reports are on pretty sizable data sets to begin with. Appreciate you looking into this!

OK, I've added ERP and Emission Code to State and Metro FCC searches.

Hi Lindsey,

After an initial "WHAT THE HECK's HAPPENED???", I spent time & went through the help popups, went through all 11 pages of this blog post & worked with the new screens and I really like the changes. Yes, people will have to retrain their muscle memory to get to what they want as fast as they could with V1, but once they get it, the ability to slice & dice the info will make it all worthwhile. Thanks for all the work!

One thing that I noticed that's missing for Catawba County NC is the link indicating that the county & municipalities are now using the NC state VIPER System for everything. It's also missing the link that Hickory NC in Catawba County is now using their trunked Public Service system. All of this may have been overlooked since I see it on other county pages.

Thanks again for the more robust RRDB!

None of that data really changed, so I guess we probably just need those links added for reference. A NC DBAdmin can take care of that

It's been a few months since I have been to the web site. There has been a lot changes and now it will take a long time to get accustomed to a new format.

Relax! We've got all the time in the world to become acclimated to the new format.

While on the St Lous City Page:
Note the link near the bottom for the Metro bus
Click it and you go to Harrison County WVA page, NOT St Louis Metro page
That's a link that an admin added manually, not a problem with v2.0. Fix the URL by editing it yourself, or delete it if it serves no purpose.

Can , from when clicking on an FRN, can you allow that data so be also sorted by county in addition to the already sortable selections in place now?

If you are talking about siteSort, at this time I don't have any other consideration I can apply to this issue at this time.
