Okay I'm having a problem with the new database. With the old database I can click on the license and it would populate a map show me the location that their license for. You can then click on that and then do a proximity search. The new database is not letting me do that on Android or Apple. This needs to be fixed or else radio reference is useless. I use that feature to find frequencies in the area that are not listed now I can't. Radio reference can you fix that please thank you
You can still do this,

Yes, this seems to be a Firefox only "feature" and I'll have to test using that browser to see if I can resolve the problem.

I don't mean to disappoint you, but this won't be the highest priority in the land - but I do have a ticket open to look at it and I'll see what I can do.

I'll throw my vote in for this as well, I was using this extensively in Firefox before the DB upgrade. I understand it's place in the priorities, just adding my voice.

I'm not really worried if it doesn't happen. It's a really nice feature, but that's where it starts and stops, a feature not something that the website needs to function with.

Ok= I'm up to speed now. The listing of the TGID in numerical order is definitely a premium requirement now. Oh well. When gas goes below $3/gal, I'll see if I can afford the luxury.
You can always highlight all the database groups text and throw it in notepad++.
Click edit > line operations > Sort lines as integers(ascending) and it will make them numerically in order

Trunked radio system control channels are now all labeled the same. We can no longer see which is the primary control channel, or secondary control channels. Is this on purpose? Some systems have like 5 secondary control channels, it makes it trickier to find the primary. I would love to see the control channels labeled again, primary and secondary.

As already said, that’s intentional. Also was separate from 2.0 I believe, just kind of coincided time wise.

Hmm that does not sound very good. Something about the voices is not very intelligible. It's not completely horrible, but my regularly monitored P25 Phase 2 systems, such as SVRCS, sound better.

hmm, I mean in theory why do we need to know the voice frequencies, the control channel will just tell us those also. More data to save.

The decision has been made; I think that ship has sailed and any further discussion about it is just a waste of time. The boss has said going forward there will be no designation between primary, alternate, etc.

In some systems all channels can be control or voice channels.
If the system operator for some reason changes the control channel to one that isn't listed because whoever submitted the information believed it was a only voice channel, then people would complain when they can no longer receive the system.

All the channels used in a trunked system should be in the database.
Somebody could be band searching and find P25 voice traffic on 410.7625 NAC 3D0 and think it's a "new" stand alone repeater unless they search the database and find it's part of a trunked system in their area.

Not sure if a bug or something else. I notice on FL the date says June 10 11:37 today is 12th 2:12pm and showing green in the counties.

This is all expected behavior, and is not a bug.

We specified earlier that we'd be allowing all functions in the database as we were testing the new release for free.

All the features that are only available to premium subscribers, are now only available to premium subscribers.

welp... that was too good to last 👎

On Safari, I have not confirmed it on other browsers. Adblocker is off, Safari Content Blocker is off. When I hit the Cancel button on a submission, the entry is submitted without even asking if I wanted to confirm it, just gets submitted. Verified it three times.

Searched through this forum to see if anyone reported it and was not able to find anything.

Confirmed.

"Cancel" results in submission. See submission ticket #242426 - just a dot. Was the result of hitting "Cancel".

Above was macOS / Safari. Works as expected in macOS / Firefox.

Maybe close the form element with the Cancel button outside the form...

@blantonl Have you found out anything about the find me button and how it determines location that was mentioned here, RRDB v2.0 Q&A and Feedback Discussion

I was still on Long Island NY in Hauppauge (Suffolk County) and from my phone, I tried near me and it still takes me to Nassau County database. I was about 15 miles East of Nassau County.

On FL freq query seems not working. The past few hours 6/15/22 3a-530a bands open up and did a few query on freqs and shows 1 county. I know certain freqs I put in should had more than 1 county.

856.6875 shows Miami only
856.6500 shows st lucie only
856.6250 shows Santa Rosa only
856.6125 shows pinellas only
854.0250 shows Miami only

854.1375 shows w palm beach.

all this is in Fl not sure if there’s a bug?

Two issues I've encountered so far:

1. Redirected to homepage when using the "proximity search" function for a given license.
2. Redirected to homepage when attempting to view RR database location map link in a TRS wiki page.

What were you expecting to see returned?

Could you provide me the TRS wiki page so I can see the links that need to be fixed / redirected to properly?
