What I might do is just move us to using a dark blue shade for control channels (what was previously the alternate color). It will look much better. We'll get 4000 complaints about all the alternate control channels now, which they aren't, but people will think they are, but a year from now it won't be a difference. Let me give this some thought.

Edit: or maybe even a green! now that will throw some people for a loop!

CSS:
.blink_me {
  animation: blinker 1s linear infinite;
}

@keyframes blinker {
  50% {
    opacity: 0;
  }
}
<div class="blink_me">BLINK ME</div>

So here's the update to my original post. I opened the radio reference export of the trunked sites and control channels in excel. I edited the file and removed the "c" after the frequency values in the entire system, and saved it as a different file name. I the opened the Unication PPS and imported the system via the csv import option and it worked perfect. I'm guessing I proved what was said in another thread that the Unication PPS does not like the "c" designation as the control channel. It did not have an issue with the colors designating the primary and secondary control channels in the old database format.

I think I'm going to make them pink by default, and then allow premium subscribers to set in their profile whatever color they want control channels to be.

That way, we can earn more revenue because no one will like pink, and premium subscribers can set the color to whatever they choose for control channels.

I find the green to be nearly impossible to see. I vote pink :)

Is it possible to change the color of the control capable channels in the Wiscom page? The green is difficult to see from black. Also can the main control channel be one color and the alternates be a different color like in the old layout? Thanks for the consideration.

I have to agree, the green is not enough contrast from the black. Maybe try BOLDING the green.

Please don't bold it – bold fonts are harder to read. #008800 green provides similar, WCAG AA-qualifying, contrast with both #FFFFF white and #000000 black (which the current #FF3737 red doesn't quite manage, though #EE0000 would). I don't know about how it affects people with different color perceptions, though.

What do you mean bold makes it harder? Isn't the point for the CCs to stand out? ya know what, tell everyone shut up, buy premium, buy a uniden, load the programming and don't worry you're little hearts

I thought PPS had a native import via the Web Service?

As has been said many times, there is no longer a designation of main control channel and alternate cc. They are all listed as control channel capable now.

Please show us how he is wrong and demonstrate where primary/alternate control channels are indicated:

Pretty easy since the 'c' at the end of the frequency means control, and the fact it's red.
It's funny how he removed his message after I told him he was wrong. Alt channels are a thing of the past. No reason for alt channels if we know the system has rotating control channels, just make them all tagged as 'c' in the frequency list.
