I noticed the same as @HoytKlagwell, there is an Ottawa County Ohio, but when you do a search for Ohio and it lists the state and counties, that county is missing. But if you go to browse and click on Ohio it does show up in the county list.

Well, OK - I know why this is now. It's because there isn't anything in Ottawa County that actually has the word Ohio in it (frequency, takgroup, category, subcategory, talkgroup category etc)

I guess I better dumb down the general search box to accept gangster low energy and sad generic searches like just a state name. 😏😜

I learn about some new interesting use cases every day from my users.

What are you searching and looking for?

"Ohio"

Good lord. 😉😉

I just noticed that database URLs look different now.

new: radioreference.com/db/sid/7769
old: radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=7769

I think everything in the wiki has the old style links unless they magically changed.
Is this going to break the wiki or will they continue to redirect to the new URLs?

How many people like the new way Radio reference is set up now ? It sure has changed. I like the old way it was set up . So much more information. I wonder why they had changed it??

I'm not a fan of the new design either. Makes it hard to navigate when you're trying to find trunked systems, etc., when they used to be at the bottom of every county, parish or borough page. It to me isn't more mobile friendly either than what we currently have either.

Sorry, just noticed it's the database page and not the Radio Reference home page. It's different, but if you click on browse it takes you ipto area can browse by state, metro area or zip code.

Going foreword I don't really see any issues with all the same information on the site, since sometimes stuff needs be updated.

County-level text description (misc text block) no longer appears in public view. Only visible in DB admin menu.

Hi All!

I also am not a fan of the 2.0! I am 73 years old and that in it's self makes things difficult. The old 1.0 was easer to get around you did not have to look for a menu and hope it is what you are looking for. Just putting things into different files not always make things easer. It slows down the search. I find the pop up (Would you like to) a pain! I shut it down and it comes back. Change fore change sake is not a good way to go. In time I may find it is OK. But for now, I do not. My .02 worth.

When I click on 'All Identified Frequencies' I get a little popup window that says: DataTables warning: table id=allCountyFrequenciesTable - Invalid JSON response. For more information about this error, please see 1. Warning: Invalid JSON response

I am afraid this was drowned by all the other messages, so I am re-posting, just in case:
How can I view the "Latest Updates" tab and info?
In the old version it was on the top tabs.
In the new version I cannot find it at all.
I am talking about a country like Israel.
Thank you in advance.

Last updated is there underneath the title. Hovering over the date does not bring up the last couple of edits like it used to, but clicking on it will bring you to the change log.

Thank you for your answer, but this is probably not what I meant.
In the previous version there was a separate tab that was called "Last Updates" (I hope that was the name). When pressing it we could see the historical updates by date and region that was updated.
I come from a country where updates are very scarce.
I want to know what was changed and updated in my country. I would press that tab and see that on the 21 of August 21 the region of X was updated, and at the 28 of February 2022 the region of Y was updated, and of course I could have gone to those regions from that tab.
