I have had this Radio Shack 20-176 antenna in my attic and was not even using it. I decided yesterday to try and see what it could do. It's mounted on a camera tripod and connected with about 25' of RG6 quad shield going down to my radio room to my Electroline multicoupler. I know these antennas are not designed for low band but yesterday it sure was picking up alot of CB transmissions while doing a service search on my BCT15X. 800 mhz is not the greatest but it seems to do ok. I have a scantennna outside but it's at a lower elevation than my 20-176 and you can definitely tell a difference. Anyone else have good results with this antenna?

Yes, those are often called "sputnick" antennas and they're not bad.
