I have three of these antennas, two fit fine over the BNC adapter that comes with the Uniden 346 and 396"XT" scanners included in the box but one rubber duck will not fit over the adapter that came with the 396XT scanner, anyone able to modify the "slots" to fit over the "pins" in the BNC adapter....TY

I have the same problem with the RS 800MHz Antenna. Three fit onto the SMA/BNC adapter fine, but the other two are very tight or won't go on at all. I have to keep trying different antennas and adapters until I find the right combination. Don't know if the problem is in the antenna connector or the BNC/SMA adapters.
