RS Pro 106 still not delivered

Hello

I order a Pro-106 on Dec. 18,2008. It arrived at the store on Tuesday Dec.23,2008. When I went to check if it had been delivered the store manager said yes. Then he told me that the radio was stolen from the store that they (robbers) only left the radio box empty but no radio. The manager ask me if I wanted to cancel my order I answered no then he told me he was going to reorder me one and it should arrive in the store on Friday Dec.26,2008. I call this afternoon and the employee said that it was not delivered it may arrive on Monday Dec.29,2008. Let is if it arrives on Monday.

Well it is out of stock on the RS web site so the store should not be able to get it also. I would try to get them to toss in a USB cable, some NiMH batteries, and an 800 antenna just for your trouble.

Sounds more like one of the usual morons behind the counter sold it to some walk in customer and right from under your feet.

If you paid for it when you ordered it at least you are safe, if you did not and it sounds like this store has a few idiots behind the desk they may give you a hard time about the price. Like the other member said ask to see the police report if you had paid for it and sooner than later I would suggest contacting the regional manager and informing him of this situation.

The regional managers are usually very good and can handle issues quickly, it's just tough getting to them.

I went to RS website and saw that Mcallen which is 1 hour away has it in stock. Can he(the manager) call the other store so I can pick it up in that store. Do I have to wait on till it is delivered where I order the radio. When he told me it was stolen I said that McAllen had one if he could order it from that store. In the past they have done that or have customer go and just pick it up. I hope I have it for New Years Eve.
