Not really. What are you interested in listening to? (Civilian aircraft? Military aircraft? Public safety? Satellites? Etc...) That will helps us figure which the frequencies, thusly which antenna(s) work best for those uses.

Also, are you willing/able to mount an antenna in an attic? Have a file cabinet, or other large metal object, for magnetic mounts?

My Bad thought you ment the actual frequencies of the scanner.

I might be able to come up with a metal object.

Frequencies: 25-54, 108-136.99166, 137-174, 216.0025-225, 225-406, 406-512, 800-960 (except cellular), 1240-1300MHz
i would go for a discone antenna.

Police, Fire, Highway patrol, EMS. It is mainly what I listen to.
