RS Pro-2096 Humming sound?

Well Fedex delivered my new RS PRO-2096 and no hum...now this is more like it!

Yep...it sits there quiet as a mouse....and has good clear audio!
The first one was made in march of /06.....this one was made in july of /06....Glad I did not settle for the noisy one!

The power supply is the same as the other one....so who knows what makes some have the hum?
All I know is that its sitting on my desk turned on right now....and you cannot hear a thing...and that is how it should be...anyway Im satisfied with it!

No I have not listened to it with headphones......I thought about plugging in an external speaker.....until I found the bracket that mounts on the scanner and lifts it up......sounds good to me!
