Rs Pro-95

I have a RS PRO-95 with the standard antenna. I was wondering if anyone has used the 800mhz antenna (20-283) that RS sells. If so, did it help improve reception a noticeable amount?

I am having trouble receiving some EDACS systems in my area and thought this antenna might help me out.

If anyone has suggestions on a better antenna I would appreciate them.

It does a great job on 800 MHz - I actually use 3 of them on handheld units.

That antenna does a great job in improving the reception on all of my handheld scanners. For about $20, that's a bargain.

I have it too, it's also great on UHF.

Thanks for all of the feedback.

I will be getting this antenna tommorrow and give some feedback on how it works for me.

I am hoping that it will help with the EDACS issue I have been having.
