RS Pro-96 manufacture's date code

Can anyone tell me or confirm if the label located inside the battery compartment is the manufacture's date code. My label reads 06A04. I assume this would be 06 Aug 2004. Is this correct???

I received my pro-96 from ebay recently and I'm trying to confirm the age of the unit.

Also, would anyone know if GRE is still manufacturing these today??

That is your date code and you are correct, as far as manufacturing its a done deal from another thread.............Hoser

The A does not denote the month. It was manufactured June 2004.
