Rs scanner's repair

I called Scanner Master this AM & talked to a lady employee there & asked her if Scanner Master repaired RS Scanners & she said no & that they do not repair any scanners, she then told me I had to buy a new scanner. With all this said, WHO does repair scanners any more ?

Uniden will repair it for a flat rate fee

If ARC 96 is a soft ware , I do not use soft ware to program, I program manually.

What scanner model do you need repaired and what is wrong with it?

RS 197, the volume is very low even on max volume, using ear jack or no ear jack.
