At my computer, duh!
Got caught this weekend on a road trip with only 800mhz antennas. Eek. They work beautifully at home, but the rest of the state is all over the spectrum. I tried to pick up a GP duckie today, but they only had the really long "Deluxe" (RS-20-034) and the "Race" stubby (RS20-288) antenna.

Does anyone have any specs on the stubby - I know it's weak enough that they advertise it as a "feature", but I was thinking about something to leave in the car for trips. Just wondering how well it covers the various bands, and just how weak it really is.

I would not recommend it for VHF-LOW. But on 800 and the 400 band, it is good at SHORT range, but not at long. I wouldn't use it on car trips. It sucks in my car, use it only at the races! :D
