I just got the RSP1a, but am disappointed to learn it doesn't work with SDR#. Ugh. I was just getting used to that program, and I like the way it works. What's the next closest thing?
What's wrong with SDRUno or SDR Console, both of which I'm told will work with the RSPs?
And who told you it couldn't be made to work with SDR#? Did you join up with some of the mailing lists that cover the RSPs?
You give up WAY too easy...Mike

I regard SDR Console to be superior to SDR# when used for shortwave listening, but for VHF/UHF the SDR# are easier and quicker to handle and there's no "hidden" settings that could throw you off as SDR Console more feature rich application can do that are more oriented towards short wave.OK, I DL'd SDR Console, and it seems pretty nice.

Then regarding RSPXX devices, AFAIK:
If you are interested in SDRTrunk, then you are out of luck. Hopefully Denny will add official support in the future.
If you are interested in DSDPlus Fastlane, then you are quite lucky. There is support via FMPP but it is limited and lacking PPM, AM, Scan, Squelch etc. Hopefully the developers will add support in the future.
If you are interested in Unitrunker, then you are out of luck.
Perhaps OP25 (Linux) will work? (I had no success).
So digital and trunking modes are limited.
But as mentioned above, you can see your spectrum with SDR Console and pipe your audio to DSDPlus for example, for simple digital decoding.
I would go with RTL-SDR or Airspy options for digital and trunk tracking.
Not sure why, but Uno consistently crashes on me. Running Win 10, 64-bit.I bought the RSP1A and have been using SDRUno almost exclusively without any issues. The software has all kinds of useful settings, not to mention it works excellent when hooked up to my Yaesu FTdx3000.
As Ubbe mentioned above, If all I want to do is surf HF then I'll open up SDR Console because it just seems to work better on those bands. I also noticed that for whatever reason it performs better on commercial FM radio broadcast.
I do like SDR Console so far. I also tried SDR++, and that's nice, too. Pretty close to SDR#. Console seems a bit more polished, though.I regard SDR Console to be superior to SDR# when used for shortwave listening, but for VHF/UHF the SDR# are easier and quicker to handle and there's no "hidden" settings that could throw you off as SDR Console more feature rich application can do that are more oriented towards short wave.
