Hi, I was at radio shack the other day and I saw the 800 mhz antenna for the pro 96.

I was getting ready to buy it, but then I remembered that the police were on 400 mhz.

Am I correct in thinking that the antenna would only help with what I hear on the 800 mhz side (fire and ems)? So would it be like not haveing an antenna for the police 400mhz side?
