I have a local AM radio station, 1.350 Mhz that I hear at 27.450 mhz; the station is also heard at the center of the receive pane every where I go. Is there an adjustment I can make to stop this problem. I have reduced the visual and RF gain to see if it helps. My dongle is a R820T RTL-SDR V3.

Thank you

I use an RTL-SDR AM Broadcast Filter. It is $17 and works similar to an $80 AM broadcast filter I have. It includes the barrel connector, so it is ready to go with your RTL-SDR dongle.
Thanks for that filter info and it kills 500-1700 kHz. Now can you tell me why I hear 40 meter on 12 meter band. I also hear them at 21.800 to 22.300 mhz. What filter now. I did get the FM one and it will arrive on Monday.

Thank you,

Hmm...what frequency on 40m? I am wondering if it is someone nearby you. Knowing the frequency on 40 and 12 may help.

Actually, the software program may causing this. A program I used before with a dongle allows one to select and listen to several frequencies at once. Even when the frequency is no longer on the screen, it still selects/plays the audio from multiple selected streams. Which program are you using?

I am not familiar with SDRConsole. Are you familiar with it enough to know if you are possibly selecting multiple frequencies?

I only search the area, meter band, I am in as you can see. I am listening to VOA at this moment.

It is a great program but if a better one is free to use I will try it. This is SDRConsole V3
