i have a rubber antenna and a telescopoing antenna for a pro-92 which would be better to pick up on 155.000 and up 159.000 ? ne help would be apreciated .

Unless it's a tuned antenna such as one available from smiley antenna, or an old Motorola HT440/90 antenna (which features a BNC connector) you'll find the telescoping antenna will work much better than the crappy duck if it's the one that came with the radio....

Of course, since you have both, you could simply test the receive of your local weather stations to find out for yourself, but I see you are "2 lazy"..., just a joke btw.

Telescoping or External is always better for me, asumming we are talking about
operating receivers in the band they are designed for.

RS tele for the Pro91 for Air and MilAir and a 1/4 Wave or 3/4 Wave for Pro96 for APCO-25
here in Austin Tx.( Excellent results, he said listening to the 96 while he typed this response.)

You can bet a ducky with very little effort...
