It appears that Rumson PD is now operating in P-25 digital on the old frequency of 155.2500. I'm seeing a P-25 ID of 175. It is currently not encrypted.

Interesting move. If they wanted digital encryption, why not just make move to the County 700 system? How will their neighboring PD's communicate when SB is on 700, and LS/FH are on analog VHF? Can the Motorola APXs handle analog and digital channels from the same radio? If so, I guess this will work.
Rumson's upgrade included VHF/700 dual band radios so they can talk to neighboring towns (ex. Sea Bright).
Hazlet is in the process of switching to county dispatch but the county will microwave into their existing UHF system.
Highlands recently switched to county dispatch but I don't know what their radio setup is.
Middletown also has some near future plans for P25/Encryption.
Hazlet EMS is awaiting new TRS equipment so expect to see them come up on the County system when the switch is made. I have no info on the FD side and the 3 township companies. As Tech792 said the PD will continue for now on the legacy system in place in the township but dispatched by county.

I did notice Rumson recently installed a new (wide diameter, blue colored) antenna on RCDS, next to the existing antenna. Guess this was part of the upgrade.
