I'm interested in running programming software on a Mac and know you can with Parallels or other VM.. but was trying to do it with Wineskin. I can run ARC-XT just fine that way, but I cannot access the serial ports to see the scanner. Has anyone found a way to do that?
Reasons are first: cost... no need for a copy of windows and no need to buy Parallels or VMware.
Second is the footprint on the machine.. Parallels and a full windows install uses a big bite of available storage.
Anyone know if this can be done (have the software see the scanner via a com port?)
