Years ago, I was working a scene near on SR74 @ MP 6. R-M sent a unit from Rio Verde. The bill must have been substantial for that run.

With even fewer R-M stations in Maricopa County, They'd have to cover for each other.

As to your other questions, I haven't an answer.

I think there's 4 BC's.

BC 820 covers Carefree, Cave Creek, Rio Verde Foothills, and Fountain Hills.
BC 830 covers the West Valley.
BC 840 covers the San Tan Valley.
BC 850 covers the East Mesa area.

I've heard 82x units (Carefree, Cave Creek and/or Rio Verde Foothills, but not Fountain Hills) sent to the West Valley to assist or cover for 833 & 837. I've not heard the other way around.

I -think- QC is doing mutual aid over in the 840's territory, now that they have a rig on Combs. I haven't heard any radio traffic to confirm, I've only seen a couple QC responses down on Schnepf Rd. I haven't heard or seen R-M responding into QC. Anyone have the real story? Corrections appreciated!
