Rutgers dispatching Dunellen Police

I thought I was hearing things when I suddenly started hearing Rutgers when I don't have it programmed in my scanners. Rutgers Police is dispatching on Dunellen's frequency. Any ideas why?

Just one more nail in New Jersey's coffin. It won't be long before you don't need a scanner anymore, just leave a window open so you can hear the tom toms. Now that raises a question; will the fire department use smoke signals?
