Got a question. I've tried hitting the local repeater and for some reason it doesn't seem to go through. Is it a simplex repeater? If not is the input freq higher or lower than the output? And do I need to use a tone? If so what is the tone? I'm trying to get active again and would love to get to know some of the hams in the area.

Which repeater? Rutherford has a few. The main Skywarn machine is 145.230 with a minus 0.600MHz offset and a Pl of 114.8
