Pretty much anything that is P25 Phase 2 capable will work. Viper is currently phase 1 with a cut over date in the near future to phase 2.

Ok thanks. I was wondering about them going to phase 2. so he really needs any scanner that does phase 1 and 2. so he dont have to update later.

For those who have Phase 1 equipment keep this date in mind. VIPER will switch on July 1, 2025 per viper folks. It will be Phase 2 TDMA
