I checked the RR Database and it does not show anything for Rutherfordton PD. I then checked the FCC Database and crossed referenced the RR Database with what showed up for the Town of Rutherfordton. Here is what I found, I hope you can monitor these frequencies and let us know what you hear.
It is also possible that Rutherfordton PD is dispatched from the County or Forest City but all of the frequencies below are licensed for the Town of Rutherfordton. I hope this helps.

Rutherfordton PD uses 159.255/ PL 167.9 for their dispatch frequency. I don't have any information for Lake Lure PD.

Unless they've changed (its been 10 years now) RPD shared a frequency with Spindale PD which was 154.860. Lake Lure PD was on with the Sheriff's frequency 154.845 ( Central communications for the Sheriff's Department). You might try those. Hope they work for ya.
