I am looking to have two of my HT1000's reprogrammed for use at work. One is a vhf and the other a uhf. I am having trouble figuring out what it is that I need. For example, right now I have 155.6550 with a PL tone of 88.5. Now I don;t know if I have the RX or TX frequency and how to find which ones I do need. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction?

Do you know if your work radios go through a repeater or direct radio-to-radio (simplex)? If it's simplex, the TX/RX frequency will probably be the same, unless your work uses a split channel (TX on one, RX on the other, with no repeater). If it is simplex, that frequency is your RX and TX frequency. If the radios go through a repeater chances are the frequency you have is the RX frequency. Your work's radio tech should be able to assist you with the TX frequency.

Your post didn't say, you'll need to Motorola software to program your radios. It's fairly expensive software. Again, your work radio tech should be able to assist you. If your work doesn't have a radio tech, you might have luck going to a local commercial radio shop and paying them a fee to reprogram your radios.

I apologize if you already knew some of this, your post was a little vague.
