S.A.M.E. in Canada?

I read on some government website that they were introducing SAME technology, but I can't find anything else besides the release from January. Has anybody heard anything?

Ah shoot.... I just saw a posting regarding this somewhere and I can't recall where... Anyhow from what I recall of it, it's supposed to be rolling out this fall I believe. I'll see if I can dig up the info again.

I sent an email to Env Can about a year and half ago, and was ASSURED that they would be rolling out the technology in "about six months." Well, that obviously didn't happen. This was the last time I heard anything about the plans. It just seemed to die someplace in the bureacracy.
