Recently, everything I receive on DTRS group 11551 (S UTE PD) comes through garbled, or "digital" as dispatch puts it. Can anyone else verify if there's an issue here, or if they have gone encrypted? The DB does not show this as an encrypted talkgroup.

Durango/Pagosa Springs area people should be able to get this group easily.

Thanks!

If dispatch is saying the units are digital then that's not enc but a problem with the system.

Also if you are logging them and they are encypted it will come up enc on pro96com.

I can't hear anything, including dispatch, on that channel. I used the dispatch reference to help describe the noise. All I get is garbledy-gook, no matter which radio ID is showing.

I can't log with pro96com very much, as it takes the scanner offline, and I'm providing a feed with that scanner. I'm hoping someone else can log it, as I don't get that talkgroup much anyway. I've only logged activity on that TG 3 times in a month here at the house. I mainly get it when I'm mobile and able to receive different towers. It seems to be commonly found on the LaMonte Peak site, which I can't get very often, and I would suspect it's also on most of the Durango or Pagosa area sites.

After further listening, I have not heard anything come across this TG in the clear, so I personally would say it is safe to mark this TG as encrpted.

I'll see what I hear next week in Durango. I'll be going down for the Snowdown balloon rally and spending most of a week there. I plan to log the sites I can hear from downtown Durango.

Confirmed Encrypted by Pro96Com:

1/26/2009 5:37 Group (Enc) 00-0115 851.725 11551 S UTE PD 237957 TG: 11551 DT: 1/26/09@5:37

Anyone wanna edit this in the DB, or do I have to submit it?
