Hellooooooooooo.

I have a Saber II and I can not get it to scan. I don't have the manuals and I was wondering if anyone knew how to add channels to the scan list and then get it to scan. :D

I don't have the Motorola RSS but if anyone knows where I can pick up a used copy of it I'd be much obliged.

TIA

Can anybody refer me to someone or a website that might have this information.

I've been to batlabs.

Thanks for the help. :D

I believe the scanlist on saber IIs are set by RSS only. If it is operator selectable then you would press the menu until you get to scanlist or scan pgm. Something like that. And then you can press select to get to the programming. But I am pretty sure it is RSS only.

The only way to legally obtain Motorola software is to call them and order it.

You also need to have a revision C radio. Look at the last to digits of the model number. If they are CN then you are good to go. AN or BN won't scan.

The RSS is model number RVN4002K for the latest version R07.01.00; cost is $280.09. You will also need license agreement RPX4719G, which is free. I can also program it for your for a small fee.
