from the SW Radiogram Facebook page...

"On April 8, the antenna seems to have developed a defect, so only very few signals are still detectable. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, university buildings are closed, so it is currently unclear if and when a repair can be attempted."

There are many others but none so popular. Mike

I dialed it up today and monitored the IBP on 14.100 MHz from 1715~1720 UTC. While some stations are offline, I did hear Israel, Madeira Island, and South Africa down to 10 watts. I don't know if that is the same, better or worse as I did not make notes in the past. I dialed up 20 meters and heard Bulgaria make contact with Germany and Poland, but I could not hear those stations. I could hear Italy & Russia as well as 20 and 40 meters.

My bad, I've been so busy with other things including work that I didn't post this - it seems the antenna has at least partially been repaired. I understand that the sensitivity on LW and MW has been reduced - maybe a substitute antenna is being used until the folks that run the site can get a better replacement...Mike
