Can someone explain to me why Valparaiso Site ID is 213 when trunker shows it as site 16 same with treport it shows it as Site 16 Alias VAL518

It is listed as site 518 on the Hoosier SAFE-T site Map Is that site Active already I take it?

Yup its up and running the most active groups are Lowell Dist-23 ,ICO-OPS1 and DNR-TALK signal is strong here in Chicago maybe because iam useing a

What is the correct site number for this site? I know that the radio techs are working on the towers and more should be coming online shortly. Hopefully, they will add more towers that will cover LaGrange and Steuben Counties.
In related news, I understand that Steuben County may donate their frequencies to the SAFE-T System for added channel loading if necessary, since Mobex Communications has sold their 800 MHz licenses to Nextel. No firm decision has been made by county officials but they have signed a letter of intent with SAFE-T.

So I take it all the site numbers are listed by alias and not by the real site ID's that trunker and treport show ?
I spoke with David Smith, who is the implementation director for the system. He advised me that the site numers listed on the implementaion map were correct and were the ones they were using for sites.
So, I ran trunker on all the sites I could(Peppertown,Versailles,Madison, and Patriot.) and they all matched the map. So with all that info in mind, and no one submitting anything else, I figured what I was told was correct.
If trunker/treport starts showing different ID's, I will change them. I will change the ones in this thread, if you get more, submit them and I will change them.
