Does anyone have any onfo about the 400mhz trunked systems Saia Communications is using. I understand that Rural Metro is suing part fo the system right now.The freqs. licensed for operation are:
424.4125
424.6375
424.8375
424.8625
424.8875
424.8500
Let me know what everyone comes up with for system type and talkgroups etc.

Can you monitor those frequencies and tell us if there is a control channel? It would help to narrow down the system type, along with any information about what non-voice noises (beeps, etc.) you hear during voice traffic.

I cannot find any control channel. The only thing I do hear is a squelch of static about every three seconds.

Just put every frequency from 424.0000 to 425.0000 into my scanner with a 12.5 step and ran all of them as LTR system for 2 hours and I,m not trunking any LTR systems, Lots of action on 424.375- ambulances in normal mode.

Thanks for the info BTFire21, AsI said in my other post I tried setting all the frequencies between 424.0000 and 425.0000 up as AN LTR trunked system and have had no luck finding any trunked system. :( :?:
