Disreguard I found out my answer after comparing the two, didn't really look at all the details in depth, oops!

Is there any specific changes needing to be made to the Uniden BCD436HP programming for the new system, or will the scanner automatically pick up the T3 system?

They are separate systems, you must program the CapMax system separately. Note that Sentinel doesn't include CapMax systems because Uniden hasn't bothered to fix several glaring issues in years, so you'll have to manually program it or use ProScan.

You will need to program the new system as a separate system from the CON+. The last time I checked there is no traffic except testing on the TIII system and new Talk Groups may be encrypted when the come in service. Sentinel does not support this TIII system. You will need to use ProScan or other program or program manually.

If you are monitoring the present SaiaNet CON+ any frequency that has been converted to TIII will need to be deleted or the scanner may mistake them as still on the CON+ system.

I hope they’re not encrypted.

Niagara Falls site seems to be moved to T3, I noticed the Digital Status keeps flipping between CON+ and DMRT3, not sure how to determine the updated info though.

You have to be careful no T3 frequencies are in your Con+ frequency list and vice versa since the scanner can't tell the difference and can park on the other mode control channel.
I need info from users with DSD+ to keep the RRDB info current as frequencies are migrated to T3. I believe the T3 system is still in test status with no known regular users yet.

I just checked the Con+ Site 8 frequencies and only found Con+ CC's and no TIII transition yet. Not to say they weren't testing it, but Con+ Site 8 is running and no TIII Site 8 is active as of right now.

If you really want to get into checking out Con+ and TIII systems, I HIGHLY recommend getting an SDR and DSD+. It opens up a whole new world compared to the traditional scanners.
