I thought that GTR8000 had explained this to you before. The +5 MHz offsets are the repeater inputs. You should be familiar with the band plan to avoid wasting time searching input frequencies.

Searching is never a waste of time, Steve. Just remember what they have told you about the inputs and carry on.

The trouble with searching the RRDB in this specific instance is that the repeater inputs are not listed for trunked systems (nor should they be), so searching 429.900 wouldn't have returned any results. It's more a matter of people needing to understand and be aware of standardized offsets in the UHF and higher bands, and getting into the habit of checking the output frequency of the pair when they come across signals in the input ranges.
