Caught DMV truck using the old ST. J repeater channel with the old PL, also caught same talk with same vehicle on UCall and it was repeated . (460.3R/+ PL:192.8Hz) I did not catch the tone on Ucall. Gonna have to talk to radio Tech for the state.

Interesting. They normally use 167.9, correct?

Seems like they abandoned the digital project across the state.

They do use 167.9 for all the repeaters (they are all linked together) This was in an DMV truck radio , And was alpha tagged OLD ST JOHNSBURY. Yeah digital just sucks and the only people making money off of it are the radio companies especially Motorola. Most of it’s used down south or up in Burlington with encryption.

Copy on the digital.. Across the lake in the Adirondacks however, Essex County NY has been using a digital multicast system for a few years now with great coverage and very few complaints. Not sure why VSP can't get it to work.
