Saint John Transit Freq ?

Does anyone know the Saint John Transit frequinces. I have 171.775 and 172.500 programmed into my scanner, but all I hear is static. Does Saint John Transit have a digital system now, or are they on a new frequency that I don't know about..

Yes Saint John Transit is now on a Digital Radio system.

what digital system do they use, can you get it with a digital scanner

I believe they're using the new Moto Trbo radios. and no i don't believe you'll be able to receive them on a digital scanner. i don't believe anyone has been able to receive either the Moto Trbo or Kenwood Nexxedge digital transmissions.

You can use a computer program called DSD to listen in in TRBO and NEXXEDGE if encryption is not used.

Do a search on the site and you'll find a thread on it.
