Update from the March 3rd Commissioners Meeting.

Radio project began in June 2012. As of Nov 2018, all 13 towers are complete.

Still on Phase I but they are moving to Phase II but looks like it will take more months/year.

Not much discussion on maybe switching to FiRST. They are calling it "a back-up system." As I thought from the beginning they will more of a interoperable user and not a primary user.

Certainly does seem like they are staying with the Harris system for now, characterizing the system as adequate. A councilman in attendance had previously labelled it as a "lemon" - he's now modified that to a "lemon with sugar on it." They will be spending a lot of money on console upgrades, and will probably limit the system to TDMA subscribers at some point down the road.
